Curriculum Audit
Curriculum audit is an activity intended to conduct a thorough assessment of the curriculum. Review of the implementation of the curriculum is carried out on the performance of learning and the utilization of supporting means of learning activities.
- The academy will follow the general guidelines based on National Credit framework:
- Uniformity in Curriculum Structure of the Courses and Credit Distribution
- To ensure the total credits for UG and PG programmes
- To implement IDCs and VACs in the Curriculum
- The discipline enrichment course which was proposed with an objective to guide the students for national level competitive examination.
- Incorporation of Entrepreneurship Courses
- Check whether one non – credit hour (two contact hour) for individualized education Plan / tutorial to be added for remedial teaching to cater to the learning needs of all the learners.
- Check the objective of conducting extra hour which is to facilitate the students to understand the concepts better, absorb and assimilate the content more effectively.
- Whether the teachers will distribute the time as per the course plan during the semester
- Check the course plan & material which are related to different categories of learning methodologies such as experiential learning, participative learning and problem-solving methodologies.
- Check whether the Curriculum will follow for Multiple Entry & Multiple Exit across all the programmes.
- Check the curriculum feedback from the stakeholders and exit survey shared with respective departments / programmes and what are the action taken for the same
